Pupils in this pathway will have access to a curriculum where the end goal is to build skills for employment. There will be a focus on preparation for adulthood and learning will be framed in a more formal way. Encouraging pupils to develop the knowledge to make plans for their own future.

In some cases pupils may work towards qualification. To these pupils communication is now an art form that needs to be practiced in many different contexts.
