Curriculum Pillars

Sitting directly under the 4 areas of curriculum intent are Ganton’s ‘Curriculum Pillars’.

These are areas of the curriculum that are not taught as standalone lessons but are present in all teaching and learning. Their principals underpin a pupil’s capacity to learn and could be described as the fundamental’s of learning for our community, it is for that reason we have used the name Pillars.

These are divided into the following areas:
